Yawn! Good morning! Today we have to be at Southern NH Medical Center by 7am to prep for surgery. Meanwhile back in River Grove, I believe our nephew Andrew will be graduating from 8th grade today. Congrats Andy! Abby still has a couple of weeks to go before her graduation here in Milford.
Gave the kids their final reminders and head into Nashua. Just checked in at Surgical Services.
Went in to see Michelle all dressed and hooked up, ready for surgery. After sitting around for a while with her, she sent me back out to do some productive work. I gave her a kiss and now just sit here in the waiting room writing yet another test for work.
Just heard that surgery started about half an hour ago. In theory it should wrap up in the next 15 to 30 minutes.
Got to see the surgeon and things went well. After wrapping up a bit of work, I head to the hospital cafeteria for an early lunch. I should be able to see Michelle soon.
Brought Michelle back home from the hospital. Before the surgery she was a bit sad that she was having it put in. It was like a small retreat in the battle after having it removed in April 2011. But now she's feeling happy to have it again so that in the future her left arm won't have to be poked with needles as phlebotomists try to find a good vein. At her insistence we stopped at A&E Roastery on the way back for some quality coffee drinks. It's a beautiful afternoon, sunny and 71°F. Now it's back to debug for me and some more rest for Michelle. Tonight we'll have a pre-made dinner made by a neighbor up the street.
While making your own fresh juice combos is pretty cool, I'm amazed at how fast it sometimes separates into layers. Adventures in using a Bass-O-Matic Juicer.
Tests debugged. Hours logged. Status written. I'm ready for the weekend.
Just got back from taking Claire for more stick shift driving practice. Each time gets a progressively smoother... Yes, Ruby survived. She might still have a clutch left by the time Claire gets her license.
Relaxed with the kids watching a new episode of Disney's “ANT Farm”. Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. Claire and I are starting to feel the effects of the pollen levels climbing back up. Luckily rain is on its way. Sealing up the house again. Hoping that Michelle's little incision doesn't bother her tonight. Good night all!
