A belated Good Morning! It's been a solid rainy one today. Good for getting the pollen out of the air! Timothy and I went to the Y. He worked out in the kids workout area while I took a Step class. Then I brought him over and he joined me for a core strength workout. I bought him a McD's wild berry smoothie on the way home. Before heading out of the house, I'd promised a treat to anyone who tagged along for some exercise. It still didn't motivate the twins.
Michelle took Daniel and Abby to their dance classes. I caught a nice nap while Daniel was dancing. Shortly after Michelle and Daniel returned, Claire called me to let me know Subway was letting her go early due to the low customer turnout because of today's rain. Then I went out to bring Abby home from dance.
It's been raining solid all day. More than we need just to get the pollen levels down. Now it's time for us to head to Mass. Claire and Timothy are serving. It's also a youth Mass, which are always a little more popular with our kids.
Back from Mass. This weekend we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. You could say it's one of the few Sunday Masses that isn't about an event… It turned out not to be a youth Mass due to a last minute cancellation, but after Mass we did celebrate the 1st Holy Communions of those who had them this spring. Our kids loved the cake and ice cream. But really, who doesn't?? And man! It is still pouring rain outside!
This has got to end soon, right? Click the snapshot at left. I mean, we've knocked out the heavy pollen. Soon we'll have mold! The lawn has to be lovin' this!
Brought takeout dinner home from Milano's and watching "Mirror Mirror" with the kids. It's hard for me to see Julia Roberts as a scheming evil queen.
We got a kick out the movie. It had all of us, especially the boys, laughing. It did have a strange ending though... a little musical song and dance number that seemed very out of place. Like a last minute afterthought in the movie production. Michelle and Timothy had gone to bed earlier, but I got the twins tucked in bed with their prayers. I'm going to do the same. Good night all!
