At the little Citgo in Brookline, NH. $3.69/gal for full service diesel. Finally seeing some signs of relief... Diesel had been over $4/gal for many fillups this year.
Good morning! Had a bit of a slow start as I stopped for some eggs on the way in and then needed to fillup. For a change of pace I also decided to use my old Rt. 13 to Rt 2 route since school is out.
Michelle has a routine blood draw later today and a followup with her oncologist tomorrow. I reminded her that we'll need some coordination if she is going to have the medicines she needs while we visit family this summer.

52 unread emails since my evening conference call last night. sigh I just want to get started on my "real" work...
Saw this and thought of my nephew TJ...
Wait... Nintendo introduced the 3DS-XL?! I'd joked about such a thing many times over the past year. And my birthday is just 3 days away?? Still... nah. I don't game enough. I might be talked into getting one for Michelle and Abby though. Oh, not until the end of July? Nevermind.
Getting so messed up today. Our newly hired verification staff keeps using "RT" to mean the Render Target and my social media biased brain sees it as Re-Tweet.
Back from lunch with my spiritual director. As always he gave me a lot to think about. Gorgeous weather on the walk back over: 73°F and sunny with some light breezes. Laptop displays that work in direct sunlight really cannot come soon enough!
After Dad and Suzy's recent email lockout incidents, decided I'd better double check that my primary email accounts are still properly configured if they ever need to send a confirmation email to an alternative address.

Got a slew of new test cases developed and they do what they're supposed to: they expose bugs. Left work around 6:20. Caught up with my dad for a bit and then Michelle... up until I hit my usual spot where I temporarily lose cell signal. I listened to Al Kresta the rest of the drive.
In a surprise development Claire is not working at Subway tonight. Because of that she and Abby will be staying at friends' house. I might actually catch some sleep on time tonight.
Michelle has an insurance question to answer for her visit tomorrow, based on today's visit. Why is it that if she goes to the lab, where they draw blood via the usual needle-in-the-arm approach, there's no copay. If she goes upstairs to the oncology lab for a blood draw because they use her portacath, there's a copay. Maybe its an oversight...
After almost dozing off on the couch, I got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. I'm going to do a little reading and get some sleep. Good night all!

"Raised to believe that women need men like a fish needs a bicycle" she was eventually disowned by her mother for becoming what her mother despised: a happy wife and mother.
