Sunapee
Good morning! I'm taking a vacation day. T-1 day until I'm officially mid-40's. Once this brief morning rain passes through, Lake Sunapee here we come.
Watched the video review of the Google Nexus 7. Amazing for $200. How will Amazon respond??
Went to get a haircut. I'd been putting it off for several weeks now. It's funny how it looks like a crazy day to go to the beach, but this overcast, rainy weather should push out soon.
Arrived at Lake Sunapee State Beach and got setup. Claire drove us out here. It seems like a nearly ideal day for the beach. The air is dry. It's mid-80's with some breeze. And because of the morning rain, it seems to have discouraged crowds.
Getting things together to head home. Being that it's still June, the lake was chilly. We all went in the water a few times, but often there were squeals of "Oooo!" reminiscent of Michael Jackson. When I wasn't in the water, I relaxed and read a few chapters of The Godless Delusion. Claire worked on her crocheting.
Back home from our day at the lake. We stopped midway at Intervale Ice Cream near Pats Peak. Got the van all unpacked.
Went through several of the snapshots Abby took with her cell phone while we were out. Selected 18 pictures that are posted below. Michelle got the twins tucked in bed with their prayers and I took care of Timothy. The girls are watching the original "Vacation" with Chevy Chase. Good night all!
