Good morning! Timothy and I just returned from the Merrimack Y. While I was out Michelle went to the local hardware store to have some extra house keys made. Claire is working the opening shift at Subway today.
Had a nice time with Michelle and the boys at the town pool. I picked up Claire from work. Now to head out to 4 o'clock Mass.
After Mass we took the kids for dinner at the new restaurant on the west end of town, Mi Jalisco Restaurante Mexicano. I'm sorry Amigos, but you have some serious competition. I'd say Mi Jalisco is on par with La Carreta in Nashua.
After dinner we walked over to the newly relocated Toadstool Books. Daniel and Michael needed a couple of titles from their school's recommended reading list.
I finally figured out what was going wrong with my rooted Kindle Fire. Tip: if you still have/use the Amazon OS and their included Launcher, do NOT let the Google store install the generic, updated Kindle app on the device. Leave the Amazon one. The two cause conflicts with each other.
I set Michelle and Claire up to watch "Good Morning Vietnam". The boys are in the basement watching Disney. Between the morning workout and the afternoon at the pool, I'm going to read and get some sleep.
Just reading commentaries on today's readings:
‘What I tell you in the dark, utter in the light’ ... Our Lord is speaking to us, for there are today many enemies of God and of truth who do not want Christians to be salt and light within secular undertakings. Such people use all sorts of means to achieve their results.
“Therefore do not be afraid of them.
Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed,
nor secret that will not be known.
What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light;
what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops.” — Matthew 10
