Good morning! Claire went with Michelle to morning Mass. I stopped by Cafe on the Oval for a quick breakfast. Looks like it might turn into a very warm, muggy day. 88°F expected.

Wow! Germany is putting their laws up on GitHub. And offers pull requests.
What Parents Say / What Kids Hear
Via heartiste: “The fact that '50 shades of sadism' has outsold Harry Potter tells us one thing: western women are craving alpha dominance.” <-- Yes, yes, I'm kidding, but it does make you wonder...
An Unexpected Ass Kicking. Easily the best story I've read this month. Geeky, yet profound.
Back from lunch with the software driver guys. It's fun to have lunch with them now and then. One of their main side topics was debating the pros and cons of C, C++, and C#. Entertaining. Like watching a religious debate. Especially the points of view between the experienced 'old timers' and those fresh out of school.

Excerpt: “First it was the ill-fated national ‘kiss-in.’ Then it was Tuesday’s ‘Starbucks Appreciation Day’ – or rather, ‘National Marriage Equality Day.’ Both counter protests were met with an unexpectedly tepid response from gay rights supporters in contrast to last Wednesday’s record-setting avalanche at Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day.” (full link)
Ah, more words from the 'tolerance and diversity' crowd... Jane Lynch Says ‘F* Chick-Fil-A'.

Why oh why does anything think "private" and "upload" can go together?? (related story) Especially on social/sharing sites??

Left work around 6pm. Nice sunroof weather driving the long commute home today. Surprised that no one was home when I got here. I'm guessing that perhaps they're at the town pool or Tammy's house, but I can't reach Michelle, Claire, or Abby. Meanwhile each day I'm seeing more and more progress on the porches and deck as the contractors overhaul them.
As I snack on some dinner, I'm cleaning up/out my RSS feeds on Google Reader. Some sites have moved, others gone completely dark. I was kind of sad to see Jalopnik.com dropped their ability to subscribe to keyword tags. I liked following their diesel car stories.
Michelle did get back with most of the kids. She brought them to her friend Tammy's so that our kids could play with hers. While they were there, she visited her spiritual director for a bit. Later she had time with Tammy. Abby is going to spend the night there. If they weren't at the town pool, Tammy's house was my next guess.
Video: Claire showed me "Opening Ceremony: Mr. Bean Plays 'Chariots of Fire'"
Found this tip for housecleaning old feeds in Google Reader. It saves some time, but I still like to go and check if the site is truly dead, or if things just "moved" to a new web address.
Little known fact: some people have birthmarks, others unusual fingers or toes... Claire has had a streak of grey in her long locks for years. She said tonight she wants to make a parody book, "50 Strands of Grey".
I got the twins tucked in bed with their prayers. Still house cleaning the Reader feeds for a bit. Have I mentioned I miss The Clausen Crew website? Good night all!
“Jesus said to her in reply,
‘O woman, great is your faith!
Let it be done for you as you wish.’
