Yawn! Time to get up. Feeling sluggish and want to go back for more sleep. But before I do, a few stories to share: EPA Reverses Itself on Fluoride, by Deirdre Imus. Maybe the tin foil hat crowd had some valid aspects to their argument?
Sometimes NH's spirit of rugged individualism and Yankee frugality has its downsides. Who Gives?: America's Charitable Giving Divide. While New Hampshire on average gave a measly 2.5%, (and honestly all of the New England states were at the bottom…)I was somewhat encouraged by the overall generosity of the USA's middle class.
Michelle is dropping Abby off at band camp. Claire is still up north but comes back later today. I had a smooth drive down, but didn't have much to listen to on hand. I was surprised to hear that Newsweek actually led with an anti-Obama story. Gee, I don't remember the weatherman mentioning Hell freezing…
Explaining US taxes in terms of beer...
It's been 9 years since I last bought a Nikon Coolpix. This could convince me to buy again! A camera with Android and its App ecosystem… Especially the Android camera apps and photo editing apps. So many of them do well with the built in cameraphone pictures, I'd be excited to see what they do with "real" camera electronics and lenses.

It's all in the camera angle... This from Reuters? First Newsweek, now Reuters?
Michelle took the boys to the pool this afternoon. Later she picked up a not-so-excited Abby from Band Camp. Since it runs from 8 to 5, Abby can be pretty worn out when she gets home. I just consider it her foretaste of life after school. «grin»
Left work around 6. Listened to a podcast about low carb/paleo diets. When I got home Michelle was out picking Claire up from her trip up North.
YouTube video: A little Qualcomm PR about digital design engineers like me.
“When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and said,
‘Who then can be saved?’
Jesus looked at them and said,
‘For men this is impossible,
but for God all things are possible.’ ” — Matthew 19
