Good morning! I dropped the girls off at the high school. The twins are home today because the whole Milford Middle School is off today for Mr. Foster's funeral. Michelle went to 7:30 Mass and then took Timothy to school. I'm working from home today hoping that I can get my car's trunk latch working.
It's a rainy day here today, but Anrik Irrigation is supposed to stop by and blow out the sprinkler lines for the season. Because of the rain there won't be any snapshots like last year.
Is hardware dead? According to this story, soon inexpensive tablets in the $50-80 range may make you reconsider spending hundreds on more expensive models that shall remain nameless. And they will have enough fit and finish to make the impulse buy more likely. We've already seen what the Kindle Fire did.
Took Michelle and the twins for lunch at Cafe on the Oval. On my way out I saw my mechanic (he had just arrived there for lunch) and he said that they still don't have the part. I'm getting the feeling it may not happen today...
It's been raining all morning and is still going strong. Michelle and I are wondering whether tonight's game will be called off.
So as predicted, my car never was seen today because the part never arrived. Abby also didn't have a football game to perform at because of the rain. I've wrapped up my work for the week and am ready to kick back a bit.
Since Abby had a free night, she went with two of her good friends to the Amato Center to watch "And Then There Was NUN". We said prayers with the boys and sent 'em to bed. Claire has a lift home from work tonight.
I've been playing with NetBSD in a virtual machine tonight. Around 10 o'clock Claire got back from work. Abby and her friend arrived soon thereafter. What are the odds that they'll be downstairs giggling 'til midnight? I'd say pretty high. Good night all!
