Good morning! It's Columbus Day. You know what that means... Yes, the kidlets have a day off from school, but it doesn't release Michelle from teaching her Step class at the Y. Claire brought her pre-Calc to study in the Y's lobby. On her way there she dropped Abby off at Kohls. The boys will workout in the youth area. Meanwhile I'm down at the office. I stopped by DFE on the way to pick up a coffee and listened to Jimmy Akin and Tech News Today #600 on the drive down. Beautiful, sunroof-open kind of autumn day today!
We're definitely returning to normal autumn weather in New England this week. Stay warm my friends!
Renewed my membership at IEEE for another year. $$cha-ching$$ I'm still a bit irked at the password debacle they had last month.

While I'm hardly a Romney fanboy, he does seem to be ticking off the right people. Washington Post Letter to the Editor: “Mr. Romney’s money problem” … Outraged by Romney's roll-up-your-sleeves, do-it-yourself attitude at his own house? Really? According to this person's tortured argument, I'm being greedy if I brown bag a lunch to work rather than hit our local cafeteria.
Had a smooth drive home but left later than I'd like. Michelle took the girls shopping after teaching her class. Both girls found dresses for homecoming. Claire had some more behind-the-wheel time with an instructor and now has the closing shift at work. Naturally now that the relaxing weekend is over and I'm busy for the next few days, the SSD for my MacBook arrived this morning. I won't get around to installing it for perhaps a week. The day after I finish RCIA this week, my father and sister-in-law will be visiting. I'm not spending that time tinkering on my MacBook.
Said family evening prayer and sent the boys to bed. Abby is working on her homework. Michelle is enjoying some Dancing with the Stars. Luckily Claire has a lift home tonight. I can focus on preparing for RCIA class. Good night all!
