Good morning! I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'm excited that my dad is on the road heading to NH this morning. I'm also a bit anxious because today is my twice a year performance review.
A bit counter-intuitive but yes, sometimes two cost less than one.
Suddenly I'm wishing we'd bought Abby an Android phone just so that we could setup this home screen on it for her. Abby was the first and is the only gamer in our house to complete all three versions of Paper Mario — the game this home screen is modeled after. The boys are excited a new version is coming for the 3DS series in another month. Excuse me if I gloat just an iota, but could a Nintendo fan do such a cool customization on an iPhone?!

Ah... sigh Performance review is over. I felt like a kid on report card day.
Michelle went to 7:30 Mass this morning and then went to the Y to sub instruct a Step class this morning. Both went well and she's on her way home now.
I think I had to read his book back in high school, but RIP Alex Karras. (related story)
Old married guy snarkasm for the day: “Why would priests want to get married?”
Left work a bit early. Caught up with my dad. It looks like he'll have driven ~750 miles today, going from Benton Harbor, MI to Fishkill, NY. I'm heading to the Wednesday night Step class at Golds.
Wrapped up the Step class. Dad texted me to confirm his settling in at Fishkill. He's only got about 250 miles to drive tomorrow. I'm so excited to see him again. Now onto RCIA.
RCIA finished. I picked Abby up from high school band practice. For both her and I Wednesdays are long days. She goes from school to band. I go from work, to the gym, and then to RCIA. We both went to Milanos for some dinner and to relax a bit. Poor Abby still has some homework to do now. Meanwhile Claire is trying to schedule some instructor behind-the-wheel time without it conflicting with Confirmation.

one of his disciples said to him,
‘Lord, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples.’ ” — Luke 11
