Took Michelle and the boys for lunch. Abby wanted to go to a friend's house and Claire wanted to stay back and work on her costume. When we went downtown we found that most establishments were still waiting for power. How rare that we have power when downtown doesn't! So we went to Mi Jalisco.

Since she didn't have to teach CCD tonight — another side effect of the local area closings and outages — Michelle is driving Claire to the DMV in Nashua for her driver's exam. I'll stay home with the rest and continue to struggle with this problem I'm debugging from work. If she can stay calm and confident, I'm sure she'll do fine. The weather tonight is a world better than last night's.
Just got the SMS text from Michelle. We have a new driver in the family! Our first in 23+ years. (One down, four to go!) Congratulations Claire!
Just as a jubilant Claire and Michelle pulled up in the driveway, my test for work finally rendered the correct image. It's like Double Rainbow! ;-]
