A belated good morning! I stopped by Cafe on the Oval for a quick breakfast before my commute. I listened to some of my favorite tech podcast, Security Now #390 on my drive in. Today is what you might call The Calm Before Snowmageddon.
Liking a silly meme on Twitter: #ReplaceSongTitleWithDrone.
Via Fector: “Bacteria in a human body outnumber the stars in the universe. By Carl Sagan's logic, there's intelligent life on at least one.”
Lost track of time and arrived at the cafeteria minutes before closing. Made a meal at the salad bar and bought a small slice of cheesecake. You could say it's sort of a yin and yang lunch.
You know how some folks feel about Inbox 0? That's how I'm feeling now at JIRA 1. (What is JIRA?) One minor task to work on... for now. Usually at any given point I have at least half a dozen or more items in my queue. Update: Sure enough. Within minutes another JIRA assignment came my way.
Left work a little before six, listening to Tech News Today #686. Claire is at a gymnastics meet but the rest are home and anticipating a snow day tomorrow.
Loved this comic found in Michelle's Facebook:
“Jesus summoned the Twelve and began to send them out two by two
and gave them authority over unclean spirits.
So they went off and preached repentance.
The Twelve drove out many demons,
and they anointed with oil many who were sick and cured them.” — Mark 6
