Good morning! It's a sunny one today but colder. Still it should be fine for the second leg of dad's road trip to NH. Michelle took Timothy with her to 7:30 Mass and then dropped him off at school. She's going to try a RIPPED class at the Nashua Golds Gym this morning.
I stopped by Cafe on the Oval for some eggs before heading down to the office. I offered up a set of Glorious Mysteries for Michelle's continuing good health and then listened to a podcast of yesterday's Right Here, Right Now the rest of the commute down. We have a couple of senior staff visiting from San Diego today so I couldn't work from home to be around when dad arrives.
Went out with the GPU driver guys for lunch at Not Your Average Joes.
A bit concerned. Haven't heard from my dad and Michelle called to say he hasn't arrived yet.
Called Michelle again and she assured me he arrived. In today's leg of the trip he stopped in CT at the famous Comstock, Ferre & Co. — “the oldest continuously operating seed company in the United States”. With his love of horticulture I can't say I blame him. That would be an interesting stop.
Late in the day I got caught up in discussions with my boss visiting from San Diego. I'm not going to make it to RCIA tonight.
Finally home and happy to see dad. Enjoying some re-heated dinner and showing him a few things on his new phone.
