An ordinary weekend...

Posted by Scott at 08:39 PM

We've taken some pictures of the kids this past week, especially of the kids in the new wagon and the girls at the parish volunteer party. Initially the girls were reluctant to get out on the dance floor. Claire was feeling a bit shy and Abby didn't want to go until Claire went out. Once I went out with the two of them, they got over their initial reluctance and then we couldn't stop them. The girls danced until 10PM.

It was a typical Saturday morning in that I went to the YMCA for a step class and then took Abby to her parent-child swim class. Michelle made some tacos for lunch. After lunch Claire played with a friend down the street while the rest of us took a nap. The temperature hit mid 50s today and so we decided to give the wagon its maiden voyage around the block. The boys behaved well and didn't try to climb out... a good sign. Afterwards I put in another door retaining spring for the front door while Michelle took the girls to get some videos for the weekend. Later I bought some carry out Chinese food for dinner. After putting the boys to bed, we finished off the evening by playing Monopoly Jr. with the girls. Tomorrow should be typical as well: Mass, brunch, etc. I'm not sure about the afternoon. There is a parish football party/chili cookoff that we might attend.
