Short Updates

Posted by Scott at 09:41 PM

Good morning and Blessed Feast of the Most Holy Trinity. We're back from Mass & breakfast. I took another close look at Michelle's eyes this morning. I'd estimate that her lashes have now grown back to about half of their usual length. What a difference eyebrows and eyelashes make. We're thinking of making a trip to the coast on this gorgeous day. 8:49am

For lunch historic Portsmouth,NH was a bit crowded so we crossed the borduh into Kittery, Maine and had lunch at Loco Coco's Tacos. 1:51pm

Decided to take NH's scenic Rt 1A along the coastline. Pulled over along the way and got several nice photos of the family at the ocean. 3:02pm

With some oversight from Michelle & Abby, I finally ordered a fresh batch of "stick figure family" decals for the new van. 7:01pm

I wonder if the pollen counts are lower by the coast. I was fine all afternoon, but now that I'm back home, I need to keep the tissues handy. Ah-chu! 7:43pm

Watched last night's Dr. Who with Claire. Lookin' forward to having tomorrow off. Not quite ready to return to the world of perspective correction, level of detail, color gradients, coordinate derivatives, trilinear vs anisotropic filtering, etc. just yet. Just want to enjoy a spring day and honor those who made a great sacrifice for our country. Good night all! 9:40pm

Bookmarks I made today:

The tall ships visit on Memorial Day
Comment: Considering seeing these today. Lots of nice photos on this page.

Marmaduke Trailer #2
Comment: Because "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" just didn't take the CGI dog movie genre far enough...
Excerpt: Marmaduke trailer...For Phil and Debbie Winslow, moving their family from Kansas to the O.C. is a big deal. For their enormous Great Dane Marmaduke, however, the move means a whole new way of life. Its chaos at home and awkward at work as the Winslows struggle to control their angsty teenage canine.
