Short Updates

Good morning! Overnight my Mac transcoded the first half of "The Odyssey" into MP3 format. I'm burning an MP3-CD of it now for the upcoming commutes. The kids have a delayed start today so I'll be heading straight to work this morning. 6:21am

Got an email this morning for the upcoming Palm Pre 2. Sadly it comes out a bit late for Claire. And it seems to use TI's "OMAP" processor and not one of our SnapDragon line like the Palm Pixi did. 6:27am

Last summer I bought two "In the 603" t-shirts. Now that it's gettin' chilly, I'm considering one of their new hoodies. 6:32am

Ordered a new "In the 603" hoodie from @Liveinthe603. This follows the 2 t-shirts I bought last summer. 6:40am

Brisk, party sunny drive in with temps ranging 30-40°F. Offered up a set of Glorious Mysteries and then listened to The Odyssey the rest of the way. Stopped by DD's for hot cider and some pumpkin donuts. Now for a day of testing and debug... 8:58am

Went with my teammates out for some lunch at a Thai place in Maynard, MA. Got to ride in a VW Passat 2.0Turbo. Interesting to compare/contrast the interior amenities. 1:24pm

Now that I'm back from lunch, has The Steve announced Mac OSX 10.7 LOLCat yet? 1:27pm

“We are at Jesus’ disposal. If he wants you to be sick in bed, if he wants you to proclaim His work in the street, if he wants you to clean the toilets all day, that’s all right, everything is all right. We must say, ‘I belong to you. You can do whatever you like.’ And this is our strength. This is the joy of the Lord.” – Mother Teresa 1:45pm

OK, one more quote: “We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.” – C. S. Lewis 1:46pm

After work went straight to RCIA. Reviewed the Nicene Creed, said at every Sunday Mass. Afterwards swung by Subway for my late dinner. Now watching "The Middle" with the girls before calling it a night. 8:49pm
