Another PET scan

Posted by Scott at 09:19 PM

Good morning! I dropped the girls off at work and stopped for a quick breakfast at Cafe on the Oval so that I wouldn't be eating in front of a fasting Michelle. She has a routine PET scan today. One might say today my hot wife will be a bit "hotter" than usual. Pray that the results come back clean again. 9:19am

I've actually sync'd up both work computers and rebuilt the environments and caught up on the overnight emails before 9:30am? Sounds like the start of a good day so far. Now I might actually be able "to get some work done". 9:29am

Kind of want to read later: 6 Saints Who Could Kick Your Ass from Cracked.com. Not exactly a Catholic apologetics site, but I can't resist the title... 9:38am

My hot wife is about to get a bit "hotter" as she goes in for her routine PET scan soon. Pray that it comes back clean again. (“hotter” in the sense that a PET scan involves being injected with a radionuclide) 9:47am

Will Sprint be announcing the successor to my beloved HTC EVO tomorrow? (related story link) Available in time for my birthday. Just sayin'. 10:05am

Via DecentFilms: “All judicial activism/action is not equal. Striking down laws embodying executive overreaching ≠ inventing law via constitutional penumbras.” 10:18am

Excerpt: “Solar Trust of America LLC, which holds the development rights for the world's largest solar power project, on Monday filed for bankruptcy.” Anyone seeing a pattern here? But some just keep on hoping. “If we just want it bad enough and spend enough money, solar power will become mainstream and affordable…” say our jet setting green leaders. 10:48am

Just recv'd SMS. Michelle's PET scan went smoothly. Now we just wait for the results. Hopefully just a few days until they're reviewed... 11:43am

After much waiting, Instagram is now on Android. Now... do I bother? Anyone else getting social network fatigue? 1:10pm

Wrapped up for the day. Now onto St. E's in Bedford for tonight's Opus Dei Evening of Recollection. 5:30pm

Listened to the end of Security Now #346 and then started with Patrick Madrid's most recent radio show. Luckily traffic on the MA/NH highways was pretty smooth tonight. 6:30pm

Drove back home listening to more of Patrick's radio show. When I got home, Michelle told me of her trip to the hospital. We also have some minor home repairs scheduled that we reviewed. I filled in the paperwork for the rebate on Abby's phone. Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. 9:00pm
