Man, I'm bored!

Posted by Scott at 05:01 PM

I have too much time right now (I'll be kicking myself later for saying that). Actually what it is is that I don't want to do homework. I have been studying like crazy the last few days and I'm kind of burnt out. So let's see whats new...

Rocky left for New York this morning. So far so good! She is supposed to call me later and let me know she got there okay.

They cut down the trees in my back yard! I know during the summer I joked with my firiends saying I didn't like them because I would basically have to go into my neighbors yard to tan and get out of the shade. Not anymore. It's like a barren wasteland back there. It's aweful. We have no shade now and I practically have to wear sunglasses in my bedroom because it's so bright. Not cool.

So I have been spending some time looking up new apartments. This is one the girls and I are going to go look at soon. I wouldn't have my own yard but I would have an outdoor pool :)

My other aweful news is about the extinction of canada web-based drug stores. Just last week I ordered my first set of prescriptions from there. I am not sure if it will affect me since it is being specifically aimed at Rxdepot.com. But that store goes through Canada, just as I do. And there are a lot of other online canada drug stores on-line, too. If this does happen, and they do succeed in shutting these down, I don't know what I'm going to do. My one medication costs $130 without insurance and through Canada I can get it for $56.00. I cannot possibly afford to stay on meds for over $100. I'll try not to worry too much for now.

Other than that, no class tomorrow! Woo hoo! But I do have to work. I have my first two tests next week. What a drag they have been to study for. For my Legal and Ethical course, the professor has changed his mind on what articles to read every week. First it was "read the first 20 articles" then it was "read up to 25" then it was "the test wont cover 13,14,15,16,17 so don't read those" (after we ALL read it!). Then he finishes comforting us with, "just memorize everything you read or I have said and you'll do fine". Ahh, enough! Tonight Seth is going to take me to dinner to my favorite greek restaurant, The Garden of Paradice.
