Greetings from Canada, eh?

Canadian FlagTravel - Salutations from Toronto. Well, Markham, actually. I'm spending a few days up at the HQ of the former ATI (now a part of AMD). In my last Canada centric job, the HQ was in Ottawa. This is my first extended visit to Toronto. It's quite a busy city! It's Canada's largest and the fifth largest in North America.

It's a beautiful time of year to visit. The weather is quite temperate at the moment. We had dinner outside last night in a nice neighborhood a couple of miles outside of AMD's office complex.

It's nice to meet folks who for many months have been just voices on the other side of a conference calls. We're squashing bugs at a reasonable rate and hopefully will have a bunch more squelched today.

Today is supposed to be another nice weather day, but there's a possibility of rain tomorrow. Hopefully it doesn't interfere with my return flight. I look forward to getting to see Michelle and the kids again.

Hi Scott! I have heard Canada is beautiful! I used to check in on several ex patriots from Caterpillar and Abbott that were living there. Also glad to see you can receive pics on your phone. I've been sending a few to TJ here and there, but I'll send some to you, too, if I have a good photo op here. Safe travels!

Hi Suzy,

Yes, we should try the "photo sending/receiving" in both directions. Unfortunately I can't do any phone data transactions up here in Canada eh. My phone is only doing voice and DirectConnect. No web, no email...
