I've been teaching silent gh this week- then to make English even weirder, there's gh that say f, as in laugh! My favorite quote is "English is weird." It's a fact my ESL learners are accepting (only 4 out of 20 of my students speak only English at home).
Wow! Only 20% of your students speak English at home. I'm amazed.
