Short Updates

Posted by Scott at 11:44 PM

I was looking over what DVD's are getting released soon (related link) & there's nothing new coming worth renting for the kids. 5:34am

I may drop for a while from Netflix five-at-a-time to three-at-a-time until more family oriented movie DVDs become available. 5:36am

Bummed to learn that the procedure to put your own homegrown ringtones on the i880 is more complicated than the i580. It also requires a PC. 6:12am

Working from home today. Later it'll be sunny and mid-60's outside. YES! Hope to catch morning Mass after dropping Claire off at school. 6:17am

On the plus side the i880's Bluetooth abilities are better than the i580's. You can wirelessly transfer multi-media stuff to your computer. 6:21am

Bonus! A weekday Mass that was concelebrated. Afterwards I gave Michelle a break and took the younger four to school. Now she's at the gym. 9:10am

For once I can finally have a window open at the home office. It's sunny and already 55°F. Yes! Bring it! Melt that snow! 9:13am

22 new unread emails since I logged out from the office last night. Man! A lot happens as I commute, eat dinner, and sleep. 9:22am

Eng. support fun: start your day with a bunch of to-do's & have them all pushed out even further with new, more urgent customer requests. 1:04pm

I squeezed in a bite to eat between two conf. calls with customers in India. Hoping to complete my tasks to be able to go to the gym later. 1:06pm

Ah, the wonderful things we find as the winter snow melts away. (related link) Vermin damage... 1:27pm

My Bluetooth phone to computer multimedia file transfers are only 7KB/second?! Bluetooth is a 1 or 2 megabit/second protocol. What gives? 2:11pm

It's gorgeous outside. Nursing an iced coffee and listening to high energy, workout music to keep me motivated sitting at my desk inside. 3:19pm

About half a dozen times a year, Emacs' macro ability really, really pulls through for me. This was just one of those times. 4:15pm

Having learned my lesson from Monday, I'm not going to enjoy any dinner until after I get back from the gym tonight. ;-P 5:10pm

Back from a good workout at the gym. Michelle took all the kidlets to Hayward's Ice Cream while I worked out. I'm enjoying dinner now. 7:08pm

I twisted my right ankle and fell near the end of class. It's a little sore. I hope it feels better before my next class Saturday morning. 7:10pm

Practiced more reading with Michael and then tucked him and Daniel into bed. 7:56pm
