Brr! It was 2°F/-17°C as I dropped Claire off at school. I had a smooth commute & it's a balmy 20°F/-7°C here in Marlborough, MA.
I love internal chip project names. Our 1 yr old iMac has a "Laka" GPU in it. Our new iMac has a "Shaka". And yes, ATI also built a "Boom".
Decided to buy another tome: "Atlas Shrugged". I've debated reading it before, but it seems very relevant to the current economy.
It looks like the economy has hit NVIDIA as hard as ATI. sigh It's been real. It's been fun. It ain't been real fun. Heading home...
Smooth commute home. Timothy helped me swap out the 1st six CD's of "Anathem" for the 2nd set of six. He loves gadget-y stuff like that.
