Short Updates

Good morning! Jingle has jumped up on the bed and is purring like a little diesel. Looks like it'll be a nice day: sunny and lower 70's. 6:03am

Both the NYT and WSJ have glowing reviews of the new Palm Pre today. (related link) (related link) 6:21am

Found on the Twittersphere: "It seems like the more that things get wireless, the more difficult it is to unplug." (related link) 6:36am

Dropped Claire & her friends off at school. It was definitely a sunroof morning -- almost made me want to drive down to Boxborough. Almost. 7:50am

"1 of every 6 dollars of Americans' income is now a government check or voucher" (related link) In other words it comes from their neighbors by order of law. Guess I'd better get working! 8:16am

In the midst of "real" debug work I have a draft of what my weblog would look like hosted by Amazon's S3 service. (related link) Note: no pictures and Amazon doesn't auto index a directory path. And yes, you don't have to have such an obnoxiously long domain name. 9:38am

Another great tweet from Mark. (related link) If it had said, "...part of your heart, some of your soul, most of your mind and a fraction of your strength", I'd be looking good right now. 9:57am

Those Wolfram guys, what a sense of humor for math/computer geeks: (related link) 10:56am

Finished two back to back calls with Bangalore. I'm so ready for some lunch. I'm sure they are just as ready for bed. ;-). 1:06pm

After missing breakfast this morning, lunch with Michelle at Cafe on the Oval really hit the spot. 'Tis still beautiful outside while I sit here behind three LCDs, perfecting that New Hampshire pallor. 2:04pm

Evidently you can condemn a faith, just not sexual acts. (related link) 2:17pm

Whoa! Intel just bought Wind River. Major blow to ARM! It's as if AMD bought Microsoft in an effort to squeeze Intel. (related link) 2:42pm

Back from a Step interval & abs class. So glad that the A/C is drying out the gym. Ready for a lil' dinner and time with the kids. 7:07pm
