Short Updates

Posted by Scott at 11:59 PM

Good morning! 27°F Time to fire up the stoves. I'm taking all the kids to school today as Michelle has a morning appointment to review how all the surgery has healed. 6:03am

Dropped the girls off at middle school. Dropped the boys off at their elementary schools. Michelle is at Southern NH Medical Center for her followup appointment. I'm VPN'd into work for the day. 9:07am

Michelle had a good followup visit for the surgery. Lab results showed that the mastectomy was the way to go vs. a lumpectomy. More tests next week: CT scans and bone scans. Tomorrow: consultation with the oncologist. 12:10am

Took a break from C code, Verilog code, digital waveforms, and the debugger to take Claire and Shauna to gymnastics. During the drive Claire made her campaign for contact lenses next year. And she seems to be counting down to when she drives my Jetta. ;-P. 5:30pm

Looking at the forecast via wund.com. "Cloudy. A chance of snow this evening. Snow likely after midnight. Snow accumulation up to 1 inch. Cold with lows around 30. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 70 percent." It's only mid October! I want Al Gore to clear my driveway tomorrow morning! 5:34pm

Watched an episode of "Vicar of Dibley" with Claire and Michelle before going to bed. Good night all! (related link) 8:45pm
