Yawn! Good morning. Two big items today: Michelle has her second chemotherapy treatment. Hopefully this time goes a little smoother. Second we have a parent teacher meeting with Michael's teacher.
Dropped the girls off at middle school and the boys at their elementary schools. Michelle is on her way to oncology. I'm VPN'd into work for the day (except when it's time to pick Michelle back up). Inspired by the story of the brave mother in today's first reading at Mass. (related link)
Verizon has a 53 page legal document in response to the AT&T lawsuit. In it Verizon says the claims it makes about AT&T's coverage are true and that "the truth hurts". Ouch! Burn!
Finally got slots to have the children get the H1N1 vaccine tomorrow night. The vaccine is starting to trickle into the state...

“I’m looking forward to purgatory,” he said. “I’m from Jersey City and it’s just like purgatory. I’ll be right at home.” - Father Benedict Groeschel [Hat tip: Lynne Flatley.
Just brought Michelle back home from oncology. She says the women in the waiting room, the nurses, and the oncologists were furious about this whole "start mammograms at age 50" study.
Michelle and I are just back from a parent-teacher conference with Michael's teacher. Now about to enjoy a dinner cooked by a couple in our parish. I think if we can avoid cooking on all chemo treatment nights, that will help a lot!
I am the homework papa! Fear my math and science skillz. :-P Tonight besides helping Claire with algebra, I helped Michael with rocks & minerals.
Michelle went to bed after dinner. I got the boys ready for bed. Watched a little "Hannah" with our girls. Good night all!

UN: Fight climate change with free condoms - Yahoo! News
Comment: Damn! I sprained my eye muscles again from excessive rolling. You know, I never hear a greenie advocate something like breast feeding - a way of avoiding the use of formulas, bottles, the energy to warm the milk, and a way of spacing births. But it seems I always see stories about population hysteria. In theory China, with its one child policy, *should* be the 'greenest' country on earth.
Excerpt: The battle against global warming could be helped if the world slowed population growth by making free condoms and family planning advice more widely available, the U.N. Population Fund said Wednesday.
