Short Updates

Posted by Scott at 09:12 PM

That Tim Tebow commercial that had NOW, NARAL, etc. all concerned and demanding that CBS pull the ad. (related link) Oh, the controversy!! ;-P. 6:21am

Good morning! Dropped all the kids off at their schools. Michelle is teaching her usual Monday Step & abs class. I'm immersed in Microsoft Visual Studio and Outlook for the day. 9:52am

As seen among the Facebook ramblings: "The Saints have won the Super Bowl. Also, Washington, D.C. is completely frozen over. Mere coincidence?" ☺. 9:57am

Back from running errands with Michelle: lunch on the oval, renew "Wuthering Heights" at the library, got some coffees to go, and an ATM stop. Now back to work (conf call in 10 minutes) and Michelle is going to watch "The Man from Snowy River" (1982). (related link) 12:53am

Time to step away from the debugger, prep a gym bag, and head to Golds. I don't vant to geht soft und flahbee like uh mahshmellow. 5:13pm

Back home from a good Step & abs class. Came home to see Timothy on the Wii balance board doing "Kung Fu" in Wii Fit Plus. Too cute! Finally time for some dinner. 7:10pm

Geek swoon! Michelle, my otherwise non-technical wife, borrowed Abby's calculator and was feeling lost because it wasn't RPN. (related link) Ever since we've been married she's borrowed my old HP models and they've warped her brain. ;-]. 8:03pm

I dozed off while the girls were playing Wii Fit. Somewhere between tonight's workout and trying to read some more "Wuthering Heights" Cliff Notes for tomorrow's drive, I couldn't keep my eyes open. Good night all! 9:11pm

Bookmarks I made today:

Audio for February 8th
Comment: My audio update for Feb 8th. Wii Fit Plus. Super Bowl. Taxes. Cloud computing. Blah, blah, blah, etc.

Swapping my lights: fantastic!
Comment: Years ago when we finished our basement, I used CFL floods in the ceiling because white LED technology just wasn't there yet. In the mean time those supposedly long-life CFLs have all burnt out and been replaced. Perhaps now I should revisit the idea of white LED floods.
Excerpt: I’ve always been a fan of alternate energy and improved energy efficiency, and I don’t just write about it like some people we know, I do things about it. I try out new things, I do the work.
