After dropping the girls off at middle school, had a smooth sunny drive down to Boxborough. Along the way I offered a Rosary for my wife and mom and then listened to more of Tolstoy's "Anna Karenina".
Our Honda auto dealer sent a thank you gift to my office filled with all sorts of chewy candies. Caramels, tootsie rolls, bullseyes, toffees, old fashioned Mary Janes, Slo Pokes... It's a darn good thing I don't have any fillings.
I learn somethin' new every day. Turns out, our septic system has a filter. Who knew?! And why yes, now that you ask, it was clogged. On the bright side: it's far cheaper than replacing a leach field. sigh It's always something!
Logging out for the day and heading up for an Opus Dei Evening of Recollection. Confession, prayer, adoration, talks... all good!
Bookmarks I made today:
American capitalism gone with a whimper - Pravda
Comment: The current narrative is that only members of the Tea Party say things like this. But this is Pravda...
Excerpt: It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.
