Short Updates

Good morning all! Looks like a gorgeous day ahead here in southern NH. Time to get off my duff, head to the gym, and then give the yard its first mowing of the season. In April/May nature always makes it seem so easy to have a green lawn, but come July we're begging it not to brown. Milford soil is quite sandy and rocky. 8:40am

Claire came with me for an excellent Step & abs class (and sweat-fest). Claire is getting so good at the choreography now. I took her out afterwards for strawberry banana smoothies. 'Tis gorgeous in southern NH right now -- sunny, no clouds, 60°F. I think it's safe to say we'll be hearing a lot of neighborhood yard equipment today. 11:22am

Changed the blades on the tractor and gave the lawn its first mowing of the year. It was also Michelle's first time trying out her new mower. Besides the self propulsion, she likes the clutch on the blade. She can let go of the mower (to move a toy, a branch, or a NH pine cone) and it doesn't shut off. 'Tis the little things... 3:48pm

Having dinner with the family at Gary's Harvest in Wilton. 5:27pm

The family is looking forward to seeing the season two finale of "Chuck" tonight. 6:54pm
