Today's Highlights
Today was a typical Sunday and I didn't have a lot of time for intermediate updates. We started out with a later 8:45am Mass. Timothy got to be dismissed prior to the readings to go with his fellow second graders for special instruction. And after the presentation of the gifts he and his peers got to stay up at the altar to watch the consecration up close.
After Mass I took the family to Donut Fresh Express for a late breakfast. When we came home I tried an update on Claire's laptop that attempts to make Linux have a Mac'ish look 'n feel. Unfortunately that laptop has a pretty modest graphics accelerator so it didn't work out well and I uninstalled it.
Once lunch time hit Michelle and I went out for yard work, mowing and cleaning up the debris from the recent wind storms.
In the late afternoon Michelle dropped off Claire and her friends at St. Patricks for more of their Confirmation prep. Once Michelle returned she and I took Abby and the boys to the Red Arrow Diner in downtown Milford. I have a few snapshots from our outing below.
Once we got home Michelle and I had the boys each practice more of their reading skills with us. Now it's time for me to get the boys ready for bed. Good night all!
