Short Updates

Posted by Scott at 11:59 PM

Good morning! We don't have as much snow as some parts, but it's still going and there's quite the wind!! Tim and I are enjoying this video: His Name is 'The Doctor' 7:29am

I trudged through the deep snow to bring the trash, including all of the boxes from Christmas, out for weekly pickup. It's hard to estimate how much snow we have so far because of the high winds. I'd estimate about 10 inches. I won't clear it for a few more hours as it's still falling and we have high winds. I'm hoping it settles down around lunch time. Now Tim and I are eating a belated breakfast while Michelle is getting guidance on how to play the new Kirby from the twins. 8:49am

Watching the Doppler. Looks like it's almost outta here! About to eat some chicken chili then fire up the snow blower! 10:51am

Via linorulli: A foot of snow back in NYC! Or as its known here in Minnesota, Monday. 11:12am

Amazon linkWe got the snow cleared out. It's sunny and not snowing any more, but it is blustery like a Winnie the Pooh story outside. I'm going to relax and watch part two of the BBC's production of The Nativity. 1:46pm

A weird but surprisingly useful winter time iPhone app: NoseDial. 1:49pm

Enjoying dinner with Michelle and the boys at Amigos, just south of the Milford Oval. 4:58pm

We froze as we head out of the restaurant to head back home. The wind is making things feel about 0°F. Michelle and the kids were so happy to get into the warm house where both wood stoves are up and running tonight. The twins are playing with their "Diary of a Wimpy Kid Do-It-Yourself Book"s that they got for Christmas. Timothy is starting into "Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Book 4: Dog Days". 7:00pm

Decided to download the Gnu GCC development chain for ARM for doing some tinkering with one of the Chumby's we have in the house. More info here. 7:21pm

Now that I got the boys tucked into bed with their prayers, Michelle and I are catching up on the 5 o'clock news. The weather guy said Nashua and Manchester (large nearby towns) saw wind gusts around 50mph. Brr. Luckily the forecast looks dry for the rest of the week and temps will get into the 40's later this week. 8:34pm
