Short Updates

Posted by Scott at 11:59 PM

Good morning! It's been a lazy vacation day here at the Bilik house. The boys played some games, I did some reading, and Michelle spoiled all of us with a breakfast of waffles and eggs. I'm going to do a bit of residual snow cleanup and later we'll take the boys out for a round of candlepin bowling. We're happy that the old bowling alley in Milford was bought, modernized a bit, and re-opened last month. It's only about a mile or two from the house and is a lot more convenient than driving to Nashua. I'm also dropping the Jetta off for a cleaning and waxing. I wanted to give the new paint (from the autumn collision repair) plenty of time to dry and cure. 9:43am

The boys got in a little sledding now that it's sunny and warm. 11:30am

It's been a fun afternoon. After the cleanup and lunch, we brought out the electric scooter to try it out now that the driveway and streets are relatively clear. We then took the boys candlepin bowling. I then picked up the Jetta, all shiny — not that it'll last long in this weather. Lastly we took them for an early dinner at Kowloon Wasabi. When we got back Michelle and Timothy had another team playing round of Kirby. I'm about to head out for strength class. 6:13pm

Back from the core strength class. It was the last fitness class of the year at our local Golds. Got the boys tucked into bed with their prayers. 8:26pm

While I had my laptop handy, I decided to quickly log in and check my work email via the Web based Exchange/Outlook interface. Wow! Over Christmas break corporate IT updated it with a new version. It's all AJAX'y now. Glad to see that things have been relatively quiet this past week. Good night all! 8:49pm
