Good morning! I dropped the girls off at their schools and head down to Boxborough. Before starting another long audio book, I decided to dust off one of my old favorites: C. S. Lewis' "The Great Divorce". I've read it a few times, but it's been a couple of years since I last listened to it. It's a short one, only about three hours, but very well done. Unlike what the title might imply, it's not about marriage but about the divorce between heaven and hell.
I'm always amazed at the temperature shifts near the state line of my commute. In Hollis/Brookline NH it was -9°F but 10 minutes later in Groton it was +5°F. The "Welcome to NH" sign must have some invisible climate shield.

Now I'm playing with HandBrake to see if it can help rip a DVD for our TiVo's format. Michelle warned me that the Milford Golds had a roof leak over their fitness studio so tomorrow I may need to use my backup gym membership -- the Merrimack YMCA. How many geeks do you know with two full time gym memberships? Now if only I was as fit as that implies...

Ah, Mac Homebrew finally has support for NZBGet.
Once things quieted down around the house, I did some tinkering on my MacBook. I updated several of my command line tools and installed, configured, and tested out 'nzbget' for the first time. It's getting pretty late though, so I'm calling it a night...
