Good morning! Once again there's talk of snow/rain mix this morning but it shouldn't do much damage. Today is a busy day for my mom as she meets with her oncologist and some EENT specialists.
It's also a day when our small local GPU hardware team gets a new hire. He's our first AMD/ATI crossover since the acquisition over two years ago. As rough as things have been for AMD, we haven't had many leave and join our team.

Cool! The Financial Times saw me surf to them and said I'm already a part of a Qualcomm corporate subscription. I just needed to register for an account.
Went with two coworkers to lunch at Savory Lane. Hadn't been there in a while. They totally redecorated the interior under new ownership. They always have tasty sandwiches (high quality breads and meats) but are a bit pricey -- sandwich + drink: ~$11-12.
Via MarketWatch: Qualcomm CEO spreads bets on wireless. Paul Jacobs wanted company to avoid being ‘one-trick pony’.
Left work a smidge early, listening to more Dostoyevsky on the drive north. Went straight to a Step circuit class at Golds. As spring approaches it's getting pretty humid in the fitness studio again. It fogs up the mirrors and makes the floors slippery.
Encouraged by the good news from mom's oncologist and EENT doctors. Tumors are shrinking and her throat is healing rapidly.
Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. The girls are watching "Dancing with the Stars". I'm pretty wiped out and am off to bed. Good night all!
