Palm Sunday

Posted by Scott at 11:59 PM

Good morning! It's Palm Sunday! Welcome to Holy Week! We're back from Mass and breakfast. The kids liked being up in the loft for the first time and playing the role of “the crowd” during the Passion. 9:51am

Five Gas Saving Myths. 10:14am

Watched another two part Doctor Who, Human Nature and The Family of Blood. Although they take some endurance, I tend to like the two-part storylines and this one was no exception. The Doctor had to temporarily become human, falls in love, and when it was necessary to change back, he was reluctant to give it all up. And I love Tim Latimer's little quote near the end of the second half:

“He's like fire and ice and rage. He's like the night and the storm in the heart of the sun. He's ancient and forever. He burns at the centre of time and can see the turn of the universe. and... he's wonderful.”

The next episode is Blink, which I already saw at Tom's recommendation, but the kids haven't. Do I dare scare them with that one?! Sooo creepy! 1:03pm

Claire and I are happy. We finally solved her geometry problem with just algebraic substitution. Last night we had solved it by writing a set of linear equations and punching them into Wolfram Alpha but today we had resolved to finish it without a computer. 2:21pm

Just finished taking the kids swimming at the Merrimack YMCA. 4:10pm

Having dinner with the family at Amigos. We didn't have much of a lunch so we're all quite hungry. I'm having a chorizo relleno with some cajun fries. I think I'll have clear sinuses for a while after that... 5:14pm
