Good morning! Another work from home day and a hot one at that. Michelle will soon be taking the kids to the beach at Greenfield State Park. I also have a minor doctor appointment later this morning. 9:31am

Thumbnail of A toasty day todayHeading to Dartmouth Hitchcock clinic here in Milford. Man it's getting toasty out there, skirting around 100°F. 11:10am

With the family away at the lake, it's time for a diner lunch downtown at Cafe on the Oval. Then a quick run over to Walgreens to pick up a prescription. 12:04pm

My moment of shame today. In hindsight I feel like a hypochondriac. I've been watching what I thought was a bug bite for a week now. A few years ago Claire fought a battle against Lyme disease and I was a bit concerned because I had seen a tick last week. I went to see my doctor. Turns out it's just Cellulitis (ie. skin infection) caused by a very ingrown hair. Phew! 12:50am

Michelle and the kids are back from the lake. Sounds like they had a good time. You know it's hot when Michelle goes underwater. Most times she just dangles her feet in the water at a pool or floats on a tube at a lake. Michelle said that by the time they had everything packed back in the van, they were so sticky they wanted to jump back in the lake to cool down. 4:30pm

Had another evening of conference calls with San Diego. Now I'm having some pizza, watching the latest Tekzilla on TiVo with Timothy, and helping him on things he's doing with his laptop. 7:15pm

After a long day I'm relaxing with the twins with an episode of "Phineas and Ferb". Soon I'll get the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. 8:29pm
