Dinosaurs
Good morning! Claire is at work today. I'm taking the rest of the family for breakfast at DFE.
Back from a lazy breakfast. It seems as though Comcast recently doubled our bandwidth. I used to get a maximum of about 1 megabyte/second but I've been noticing lately that we're up around 2 now. Michelle and I decided to download Jurassic Park, as it came out about 10 years before Timothy was born. We tend to forget about movies from the 90's, thinking that they've already seen them.
After folding lots o' laundry while watching the first half of the movie, Michelle and I worked on the lawn this afternoon. Nice weather for it. Meanwhile Abby had her friends Lela and Chloe over to play. When we were done, Michelle, the boys, and I watched the rest of Jurassic Park. Man! I'd forgotten what a scary movie that was. And of course I had Timothy pay attention to this scene. *grin*
Just picked up Claire from Subway. She had a long day because someone got hurt and needed a last minute substitute. Meanwhile Timothy and I are trying to make his laptop dual boot between Ubuntu and Linux Mint (his existing setup). He wants to be able to tinker with both.
Got Timothy's laptop dual booting between two of his favorite Linux distributions. Spent half an hour researching the submersible pump for our fountain. Found a reasonable replacement. Don't ask how it got ruined. It's a silly story...
Michelle made hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. A great dinner to wrap up the weekend with! Watched a decent new episode of Disney's “So Random” with the kids. Our favorite skit: Vampire Kittens. Wish I could find a video to show you. Being a ‘cat family’, our kids loved it.
Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. We never got around to watching the new Dr. Who today, but I think the kids had enough scary television for one day. About to offer another Rosary up and get some sleep. Good night all!
