Good morning! Enough of the rainy weekend, time to get back to work. Oh wait, it's still raining. Anyway… I dropped the girls off at their schools and then dropped my car off for a minor repair. It'll get it's heater/AC blower motor replaced and the fuse/resistor pack that controls it. It goes without saying that I'll be working from home because of it.
How did I get through the whole weekend & NOT watch the season 6 Dr. Who finale?! Oh yeah, OSX Lion upgrades. Really though: Priorities Man!
I might want to watch this upcoming movie: The Other F Word. Punk rockers grow up and becoming fathers.
Have I mentioned that today should be my last day using WindowsXP? Tomorrow IT should replace my XP hard drive with a Windows7 solid state drive.
Got word today that a GPU I was responsible for in SoC integration efforts crossed the 100 million shipped threshold this week. Cool! Anyone remember this snapshot taken in June 2009. Those were the early prototype samples and I was out in San Diego debugging the first issues. It was about a month before I started full time there. Man! Over 100 million shipped since then.
Does anyone else (well, in the geek domain…) laugh when they get their Amazon Web Services bill? Mine this month: $1.60. For backups and hosting my site mirror. Ha! It's like peanuts! Actually peanuts probably cost more.

Went with Michelle to Cafe on the Oval for a quick lunch and swung over to my mechanic to see how my car was doing. Should still be ready for pickup tonight.

Wrapped up work at 5 o'clock so that I could pick up my Jetta. She had her blower motor and the control resistors/fuses replaced today. I went straight from the mechanic to Golds Gym for tonight's Step Circuit class. Now just need to skim the interim work emails and grab some dinner.
Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. Helped Claire with her linear programming/optimization homework. Now the girls are just watching "Dancing with the Stars" while I do a little more research/studying... Good night all!
