Good morning! I dropped the girls off at their schools and head to Cafe on the Oval for a quick breakfast. Listened to more of "Reamde" on the drive down to Boxborough.
In helping Abby with her homework she asked me what my favorite Constitutional amendment was. To be semi-contrarian I answered the 18th (that is, prohibition 1919-1933). I told her it showed the limitations of just making laws, even with the best of intentions, because of unintended side effects which flow from human nature and reactions to the law.

Left home around 5:45, listening to more of "Reamde" along the way. When I got home I remembered that Michelle has a cancer support group meeting tonight. The kids are fending for themselves as I have a 7 o'clock conference call with San Diego (as I do most nights this week).
