A Long, Long Day

Posted by Scott at 11:59 PM

Good morning! I dropped the girls off at their schools and returned home. I have a bunch of conferences calls this afternoon that go late into the night, so I'm working from home. No Step class for me tonight. 9:01am

Pretty sure CNET would classify this as a "1%'er gadget": The Mute Watch at $259 US. 10:01am

Of course the Nixie Watch one ups that at $395 US. (And loved the Slashdot snark comment...) 10:04am

Trashy Kittehs Took Michelle out for an early lunch (11:15'ish) at Cafe on the Oval. Had we been there about 45 minutes earlier, candidate Ron Paul had stopped in. Unfortunately it was during the lull between the breakfast and lunch crowds so Dr. Paul made only a quick stop as the restaurant was nearly empty. 12:10am

Finished up my fourth and last conference call around 9:15pm. Feeling bad that I barely saw the kids tonight, nor was able to help Claire with her Algebra. Tomorrow will be another kid-less night, as I'll be staying late to have a holiday dinner with my office teammates. 10:02pm
