Maria Arrives
Good morning! We have another rainy morning, but at least it's just misty. I dropped the girls off at their schools before heading down to Boxborough. Michelle just dropped off the boys. It's an exciting day for Michelle as her sister Maria arrives later this morning.
Michelle took a Cardio Fusion class at Golds before heading up to Manchester to pick up her sister Maria. On the way back the two sisters had lunch at Milford's Cafe on the Oval.
In between my normal debug today (which was hair ripping at times), I've been downloading and installing Visual Studio 2012 Release Candidate from Microsoft. Man! What a slow install process it's been. Our main development is done on older releases of the tool, but some things need the “bleeding edge” version as we prepare for Windows8 and the latest DirectX developments.
Finally got to the bottom of a bug that had been bothering me and my teammate for over a day. And the Visual Studio install finally wrapped up just in time for my departure. Onto my next task in the never-ending development queue tomorrow morning. Left work at 5:30 and drove north to Bedford/St. Elizabeth Seton Church for tonight's Opus Dei Night of Recollection.
Had a good Night of Recollection. Stopped at McD's on my way home. I was happy to see Maria here when I got home. I really appreciate the sacrifice she and her family are making for her to be here. It is sure to brighten the spirits of Michelle and the kids. I barely got into my McD burger when it was time to pick Claire up from Subway. I can't remember the last time she called just minutes after 9 o'clock. Good night all!
