Good morning! Looks to be a gorgeous one here today. Already sunny and in the 60's outside. I dropped Claire off at school for her last two finals: Trigonometry (Sine, Cosine, and Tangent, oh my!) and Chorus (Mah, meh, mee, mo, mooo).
On the first half of the commute down to Boxborough I offered up the Luminous Mysteries for Michelle's continuing good health. I caught up with my dad the rest of the drive. Today is office Bagel Day, so while my computer rebuilds the latest code drops, I'm off to get a byte (pun intended).

Went to lunch at Il Fornos in Acton with some ol' AMD friends (and a few new AMD faces). Nice to catch up with them...
Michelle dropped Maria and the girls at the new Merrimack Premium Oultets Outlets. She then head over to oncology for her first labs/blood draw with the new portcath that was surgically installed two weeks ago. She said it went even better than the original. While initially she was a little upset the the new port was placed higher on the chest, it kept it more secure when they put the needle in. And with the use of the numbing cream it was pain free. No more of this "hope we can find a good vein", stab, stab, stab nonsense. So after the quick, painless blood draw, she went back to the outlet stores to join the girls.
Since today is the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, here's a homily by St. Josemaria about this devotion. I want to read the rest tonight after work.
Pope Paul VI: I told you so.
Imagination goes 'all out' with bigger PowerVR graphics cores. Just a little more marketing from one of our main competitors.
I didn't know there was talk of Neal Stephenson's sci-fi novel “Snow Crash” coming to the big screen. I've enjoyed some of Stephenson's novels and others… well not so much. Snow Crash, Diamond Age, and Anathem were among my favorites of his novels.
Tests debugged. Status report written. Hours logged. Time to log out and enjoy the weekend. The Milford Pool opens tomorrow, although we probably won't go 'til Sunday. Too many things to do on Saturday. Workouts at the gym, dance classes for Abby and Daniel, Mass.
Had a nice sunny drive home. EWTN had a great Q and A show this afternoon. Hour 1 and Hour 2. The kids are all happy to be done with school.
Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. Daniel is a bit sad that he won't be going to Heron Pond anymore, as next fall he and Michael start at the Middle School. Michelle is going to stay up to bring Claire home in a little while. She's at an end-of-school-year party at a friend's house tonight. Good night all!
