Good morning! Timothy and I started it with a call to Grampa Bob to wish him a Happy Birthday. I'm a bit jealous that he's going to see “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” tonight with Tom and Alyssa. On the bright side today we're going to see Abby and Daniel perform their dance routines.
I just finished an intermediate Step and body core classes at the Merrimack YMCA. I think my obliques and back muscles are going to be sore tomorrow. I went solo today because we wanted to the kids to enjoy their last day with Aunt Maria.
It was a beautiful drive back to the house. Sunny, dry, and 82°F outside. I opened my sunroof and windows and just let the wind dry my hair and keep me cool. Timothy completed another Code Academy level. Claire is at work. Michelle is making burgers on the grill. In a couple of hours we'll head to Groton to see Daniel and Abby's dance recitals.
We drove down to Groton and dropped Abby and Daniel off an hour early. The rest of us are now at nearby McD's enjoying a frozen snack before we drive back for the performance.
Abby's dance number is next, doing hip hop to David Guetta's “Crank it up”.
Daniel's dance number is next, doing hip hop to Usher's "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love".
Seeing 27 dance routines in just over two hours. Wow! I couldn't get any pictures of the two of them in their dance costumes. While we all thought they were pretty cool, Abby and Daniel didn't want to be photographed in them. We're now on a brief pitstop at the house so that Abby and Daniel can change before we head out for a celebration dinner.
Here at the Pasta Loft about to have our dinner. Because of an event upstairs, we're actually down in the Brick House area. I'm a bit surprised that Claire didn't want to come with, but she wanted some rest after her day at Subway.
I've been finding sharing from the Kindle (with book excerpts) to be really error prone, clipping words unpredictably. I'm reading Timothy Cardinal Dolan's short work, “True Freedom: On Protecting Human Dignity and Religious Liberty” on the Kindle.
Via quarkon: “99 bugs in the legacy code, 99 bugs in the code. Take one down, pass it around. 102 bugs in the legacy code.” So true! When working with old code, you fix one problem and create four more.

Michelle has taken her last Xeloda for the week. Starting tomorrow morning she has a week off. She'll have blood labs on Wednesday and meet with her oncologist on Thursday. I just got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers and said my goodbyes to Maria. She and Michelle will head to the airport early tomorrow morning.

But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness,
and all these things will be given you besides.
Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself.” — Matthew 6
