Strawbery Banke

Strawbery BankeYesterday was just great. We went on a field trip yesterday to a place called Portsmouth which used to be called Strawbery Banke. When we were there, our chaperone was our teacher, Mrs. Blake. I was with my friend Shannon, and Kyle, Derrick, & Daniel. While we were there we looked inside old homes and even a small market.

Mallo CupLunch to me was really fun. We ate lunch kind of near the ocean ... not like on a beach or anything. While people finished eating lunch, Shannon and I played in the grass and did gymnastics. (I'm getting better at my one legged backbend) Then near the end of our trip, we got to go to the gift shop. Like most gift shops everything there was pricey, so I just got two postcards and two Mallo Cup bars.

After the gift shop we visited one more place which was the market, and then we left to go back home.

I love field trips! It sounds like you had a lot of fun. We haven't been doing much recently, just getting ready for summer! Tomorrow is William's kindergarten graduation, and it his last day of school and TJ's too. TJ will then go to Michigan with Gramma and Grampa to see their new house. I hope you have a nice weekend!

Hi Lyss,

Thanks for the feedback. Just after this post went online, a lightening strike hit the house and knocked out our cable modem. I hope to replace it tomorrow, but internet (and email) will be sketchy for a little while.
