Workouts Spiritual and Physical

Good morning! I dropped the girls off at their schools. It's their last week. After yesterday's day of sneezing, I slept reasonably well and hope today the allergic reaction to the lawn mowing can subside. 8:59am

Booked an appointment for tomorrow for my Jetta. Time for its inspection and an oil change. I'll probably work from home and maybe go with Michelle when she meets with the radiologist. 9:06am

Went with my team to Idyl Wilde Farms to pick up lunch. They have an awesome hot pastrami with mustard on rye that almost melts in your mouth. 1:24pm

Video: Are you predisposed to breast cancer? FoxNews' Kayleigh McEnany shares her cancer prevention story. Kayleigh and her mother had the BRCA genes that predispose one to breast cancer and discusses it here. For the record Michelle does not have this gene, as not all breast cancer patients do, but I would encourage any woman with a family history of breast cancer to get this genetic screening. 3:39pm

Daughter of St. Gianna Molla to Visit U.S. for the First Time. Saint Gianna's story has always moved me. Her daughter will speak about the life and legacy of her saintly mother at a conference titled, “Being Faithful, Even Unto Death”. 4:09pm

It's been a busy evening. I left work a smidge early. I called my dad to see how mom did with her chemo today. When I got to Milford I took the 5:30 Step Circuit class. I was surprised that Michelle dropped Claire off so that she could take the class too. When we got back I snarfed a quick dinner and head out for an Opus Dei Circle up in Bedford. I'm just back from that now and am zonked. Good night all! 9:45pm
